Ugh...so frustrating!!!
The past couple of weeks taking Kaitelyn to daycare has been frustrating and I just need to VENT!! Okay, so it seems Kaitelyn has only been drinking the one cup of milk I send with her in the mornings. When I pick her up, her cup is sitting in the frig...EMPTY!! Then, when I check her daily sheet, there are no notes of her drinking anything but the milk I sent with her. I bet you're thinking, "Well maybe they've just refilled her cup with milk during the day"? That would be nice, but I haven't taken any milk in a while. She's got juice but no milk in the fridge. Okay, so that's one thing.
Yesterday, I show up just before 8am and they tell me that I need to make sure she washes her hands as soon as she walks in the door. "The state is requiring it"!! What a stupid rule! If she has to wash her hands, then the state should require the daycare to wash the cups and shoes coming in too. I mean, my child has handled her cup that I have sent with her for the day with her DIRTY hands and she's walked outside in her shoes before she has set foot inside the classroom! So ridiculous, I'm already running late in the mornings, I don't have time to stand in line to help wash my child's hands before I leave for work.
Next...when I arrived home after work today, my child is running around with her shirt inside out. Apparently, she must've taken her shirt off and they put it back on, but inside out. I'm talking about it was blantly obvious, the tagless back was in the front and her buttons were in the back INSIDE OUT!! All I can think of, is how lazy can you get!! I know there are other children that need to be cared for, but for goodness sake, if you're gonna take the time to put my child's shirt back on, put it on correctly. Jeez Louise!!!
I know it could be a lot worse, at least my child isn't coming home with diaper rashes everyday and she's well fed during the day. Thanks for reading my frustrations, I feel a little better getting that off my chest
