Oh how I wish it were true!
We've put the training potty in the bathroom for Reed to practice. But at least he's getting used to sitting on it then washing his hands afterwards :-)

Christmas Joy
Christmas just keeps getting better
This year, Kaitelyn was so excited to put together sugar cookies and milk for Santa. I decided to do the Kate Gosslin tradition and make Monkey/Sticky bread for our morning breakfast. Although, the bread was good, it took 4ever to make by scratch.
For Christmas Eve, me and the kids went to church and it was awesome. I wish I had taken pictures to look back and remember so I'll have to rely on my words. There was Santa, wonderful Christmas music, a good message and a rockin' ending. Literally...the pastor and the youth leader closed with a great rockin/rap skit.
Kaitelyn received a new tutu and lots of fun girly accessories.
Reed received some new hot wheels, bath toys & a horn.

Thinking...
Kaitelyn has been doing a lot of "logical thinking". Today, this is what she said:
Kaitelyn: Mom, we don't have a fireplace.
Me: You're right, what makes you say that?
Kaitelyn: Well, we don't have a fireplace so how is Santa going to get into our house?
Me: That's a great question, I'm not real sure. I think he uses his magical powers to get into our house. He managed to make it in last year.
Kaitelyn: Okay.
Sooo...cute! A couple of weeks ago, she asked her preschool teacher (teacher Kristen) a good question.
Her question was, "Teacher Kristen, where do teachers sleep at night?"
That same week, we were all in the van going to run errands and Reed was getting fussy in his seat. I threatened him with a time-out to get him to settle down. Kaitelyn asked me a minute later, "Mom, how do you take a time out in the car"?
I'm learning that I can't just make up anything anymore, Kaitelyn is starting to think logically.

Reed's Favorite Commercial
This has become a favorite in our home. Reed goes absolutely nuts when this commercial airs. He will dance, run and giggle in front of the TV.

Grandma Came to Visit
1st part of September, Grandma Rose and Uncle Mike came to visit us.
We visited Poulsbo and made a stop at Sluys Bakery. While we were walking along the waterfront, we ran into this little park at the end. It was a quiet little park with nobody around.
Visiting the Hood Canal
Visiting the Harborside
Coming home from a long adventurous day in Seattle
Exhausted...relaxing on the ferry ride home.
Kaitelyn has her thumb and an ear in hand
A beautiful day visiting Mt. Rainier
It was such a beautiful day, that we could actually see some hikers in the higher elevations.
The looked like small ants, but they could be seen :-)

Cute Random Pics from Summer
A day at the County Fair
At the end of August, we took the kiddos the our county fair. It was lots of fun. Kaitelyn rodes lots of rides, the kids saw lots of 4H animals and they enjoyed cotton candy for the 1st time. Another 1st for Kaitelyn and Reed was the school bus ride we took from the parking lot to the entrance of the fair.
