Easter...

This was Kaitelyn's first year participating in Easter celebrations. We had lots of fun. The day before Easter, the weather was absolutely BEAUTIFUL around here. We joined a coupled of public easter egg hunts in the community. Our first stop was Poulsbo, this egg hunt was fun and Kaitelyn's very first hunting experience. She didn't know what to do at first, I got down with her and showed her the ropes. That's all she needed, she was a pro after that. Although she didn't get a single egg, it was the experience that counted.

Here are a few pics from Poulsbo...

Well...I know it's been almost a month since I last posted anything. Time has just flown by for us. Kaitelyn was fighting the "rotovirus" off and on for a couple of weeks. Some of her friends from daycare were hospitalized from it. I feel very fortunate that Kaitelyn never got that sick. However, our house reeked for a couple of days, but nothing a few lit candles couldn't handle.

If you didn't know, it's been snowing here the past couple of days. I took a few pics to share. None of it stayed in our area, but it was cool to see snow in late March.

oh yeah, this is our new van, it's a pretty smooth ride :-)

Finally, A Breakthrough

Okay, so Kaitelyn never really tells uswhat she wants. In order to find out what she wants, we have to ask a list items and she'll respond by saying "No" until we say the right thing. Then, she will just say nothing (that means Yes).

Well...today she told me "I poo-poo" for the first time! She has always just continued to run, climb, sit or do whatever in a poopy diaper. It was a very exciting moment for me. Maybe she's coming out of her shell since we finally broke down and purchased a wipe warmer. It was becoming difficult to change diapers with cold wipes. We'll see how we do when a warmer is not around.

I have come to terms that...

I'm so out of the loop with modern technology. For example, I had to ask the guys I work with the other day what a podcast was?? I know... that's funny, but I really didn't know what it was. Now I'm in the know and can download one and view it if I'd like. I work with 3 graphic designers that are total tech geeks (it's okay, they're proud of it). The are brainiacs when it comes to Apple products and most electronic devices.
Matt & Maddy's little bundle of joy has ARRIVED!

Clara Sydney arrived March 6th, weighing in at a whopping 10lbs 6oz. Like Maddy said, "We are competing to have the biggest babies ;)" She is such a beautiful baby. All of my friends (including myself, hee, hee) have had beautiful babies.

Kaitelyn weighed in at 10lbs 4oz (if you forgot)

Kaitelyn had her grumpy pants on.
I think she was upset that I was holding another baby.

Thank You...

Sarah, I love the two tickers you added to your blog.
I hope you didn't mind...I put one up too.

Yay ... so I finally worked up the courage to click on the link to upgrade our blog template. You see, our blog was beginning to look a little BLAH but I just couldn't find anything in our last template that would allow me to give our blog a little pizazz. So, I talked with one of my co-workers and took a look behind the scenes of his blog. When I saw all the options for customizing and editing, I knew I had to do something.

If you haven't noticed already, take a moment to check out some of the changes I have made so far.
......................................................................

Kaitelyn is feeling a bit under the weather, hence the reason why I'm able to do some updating. This morning, Kaitelyn surprised me with a diaper like No other. The contents were spewing out the sides, (I know those who have children will appreciate that one)! I didn't think much of it, just thought something she ate at daycare didn't settle well with her tummy. She was only there a couple of hours when she showed other signs of being ill. My poor "Little Sunshine" :( So I get to lounge and take it easy while she and Luke get some sleep.

Oh yeah, Luke's back on graves (YUCK) for the next couple of weeks or so.

For those who don't know yet, we sold the Camry. Luke found a 2005 Honda Odyssey in very good condition for the price on Craigslist over President's Day weekend. By that Tuesday, we sold the Camry through Craigslist and purchased the new "Family Vehicle". Now, when friends and family come to visit, we have room for everyone (almost everyone) when we want go anywhere. It's really nice, I'll post some pics when I have a chance, but it is a slate green color. It looks like a dark silver with an olive green tint, kinda. It has lots of room and fun amenities.

Well, gotta go, my little sickly is waking up. Have a great day!!
