Okay, so many of you know we took some time off for a "Vacation". We went to Colorado to visit our good friends "The Kelly's". We had such a good time, I really wish we could have stayed longer. They have such a beautiful home and we have lots in common.

The only thing I wish was different is, I suffered from altitude sickness the entire time we were there. As soon as we set foot in Kansas, I felt 90% better. The constant headache and nauseousness was finally gone.

So while we were visiting, we went to a Lacrosse game, which was fun. Luke and John loaded up on hot dogs and beer and Sarah and I loaded up on nachos loaded with jalapenos and soda.
I had more pics that I took with my phone, but I deleted them because I ran out of room. I wasn't saving my pics to the memory card, I was saving pics to the root device memory. The crowd was fun, there were pyros, harley's, cheerleader s and lots of other entertainment during the game.

During our stay, we enjoyed visiting the Denver Zoo, The Red Rocks Amphitheatre, shopping, good eats and casual walks and most importantly... Luke's 30th BIRTHDAY!!. It was PERFECT!!

Awww...picture perfect!!

You know, I'm not real sure what to write about right now. Here are some thoughts.

Kaitelyn has been calling me "Mommy" for about a month now and really understands what "Mommy" means. It's such a great feeling to have when your child loves to call you Mommy or Momma :-)

She hasn't mastered the toilet yet, but starting to get to the point where she wants her diaper changed as soon as she drops the kids off.

Those temper tantrums are becoming more frequent and she has become very skilled with them.

Kaitelyn enjoys playing outside, but we really don't have a yard for her to run around and play in. The backyard is fenced it, but it's the dog's toilet, so that doesn't work. Our front yard is too small to run, you'll sprang an ankle if you try and it's not fenced in. I told Luke I'd like a house with a yard, but that won't be anytime soon.

I've had several people tell me that Kaitelyn is due for a brother/sister, well that'll happen when it happens. Don't count on it anytime real soon.

Just off the top of my head, here are some of Kaitelyn's favorite phrases, "Momma's car, Dadda's truck, Trees, pee, pee (for fi, fe - Alexis), down, Cheetos, choo choo, ahh choo, momma where bee's".

Some of her favorite shows, Bunnytown, Dora, JoJo's circus, higglytown heros, Hanna Montana.

Last Thursday as I was getting ready for work, Kaitelyn picked out my shoes for the day. She sat them down side by side and said, "Here you go, Here you go momma". So needless to say, I wore them. Lucky for me, she picked out a matching pair. It was soo super duper cute :o)

Kaitelyn has been sleeping better at night. Since we went to San Diego and had to share our room with Kaitelyn for 6 months, she got used to sleeping in the same bed with us. Now that we are back home and back to separate rooms, I've been working to get her used to sleeping by herself again. I've almost accomplished that goal. It hasn't been easy, but being persistent has paid off. She will fall asleep by herself on most nights now and she's starting sleep through the night. I still have nights where she seems to wake up every 2-3 hrs and won't go back to sleep until I sit with her.
I needed some help making sloppy joes one, Kaitelyn came to my rescue. She's a pro when it comes to browning meat, mixing cakes and mixing brownies.

Kaitelyn enjoys wearing her daddy's hard hat and earplugs. Here's the proof.
On Easter,

We didn't do anything but rest that day. Kaitelyn received a good bag from our friends, Allison and Scott. She enjoyed opening her gift and playing with the toys.

Continuation of Easter...

So, I didn't finish what I had started the other day. After the Poulsbo egg hunt, we when to another one that was scheduled early in the afternoon, that one was really scheduled for the next day when it was going to be rainy and stormy. But we got some great pics from the location.

I thought this was a gorgeous iew of the canal and the Olympics

So after we found out this egg hunt wasn't until the next day, we just went to a park and played until the next one scheduled out at Pheasant Farms. That really sucked!! We paid $3(donation) to get in and didn't get a chance to see one egg. It was a huge disappointment not only for us, but for many other children. It's too complicated to type how it was setup, but it was a hunt for the parents. They were very aggressive in making sure their children's baskets were full. We were at the very end of the line and didn't get far.

We had fun prior to the hunt, viewing the sheep, ostrich's, llama's and especially the ducks. Kaitelyn had more fun feeding the ducks her Cheeto's and checking out the old farming equipments placed throughout. Here are a few pics...
