Potty Time

Oh how I wish it were true!

We've put the training potty in the bathroom for Reed to practice. But at least he's getting used to sitting on it then washing his hands afterwards :-)

oh...my little silly man

Christmas Joy

Christmas just keeps getting better

This year, Kaitelyn was so excited to put together sugar cookies and milk for Santa. I decided to do the Kate Gosslin tradition and make Monkey/Sticky bread for our morning breakfast. Although, the bread was good, it took 4ever to make by scratch.

For Christmas Eve, me and the kids went to church and it was awesome. I wish I had taken pictures to look back and remember so I'll have to rely on my words. There was Santa, wonderful Christmas music, a good message and a rockin' ending. Literally...the pastor and the youth leader closed with a great rockin/rap skit.

Thinking...

Kaitelyn has been doing a lot of "logical thinking". Today, this is what she said:

Kaitelyn: Mom, we don't have a fireplace.
Me: You're right, what makes you say that?
Kaitelyn: Well, we don't have a fireplace so how is Santa going to get into our house?
Me: That's a great question, I'm not real sure. I think he uses his magical powers to get into our house. He managed to make it in last year.
Kaitelyn: Okay.

Sooo...cute! A couple of weeks ago, she asked her preschool teacher (teacher Kristen) a good question.
Her question was, "Teacher Kristen, where do teachers sleep at night?"
That same week, we were all in the van going to run errands and Reed was getting fussy in his seat. I threatened him with a time-out to get him to settle down. Kaitelyn asked me a minute later, "Mom, how do you take a time out in the car"?

I'm learning that I can't just make up anything anymore, Kaitelyn is starting to think logically.

Reed's Favorite Commercial

This has become a favorite in our home. Reed goes absolutely nuts when this commercial airs. He will dance, run and giggle in front of the TV.
